In November 2013, the Catalan city will be hosting the 27th edition of the EVS congress, the most important international electric vehicle event.
Through LIVE Barcelona, the City Council has prepared the city’s bid to host the 2013 edition of this event, with Barcelona being the preferred option versus other important capitals such as Paris or Geneva. The challenge is by no means an easy one, as the last edition of the Electric Vehicle Symposium, the EVS26, held in Los Angeles last year, was the most successful of all the congresses held to date, with more than 5,000 participants from 47 different countries and a total of 500 presentations.
The congress, organised by Fira de Barcelona and Avele, in conjunction with Weva, Avere and Barcelona city council, will be held from 17-21 November 2013 on the Gran Via Fair premises, coinciding with the Smart City Expo & World Congress that is scheduled for next year.
Consequently, the EVS27 to be staged in Barcelona will allow the Catalan capital to consolidate its positioning as a pioneer city in this type of technology and give the participating companies the opportunity to organise international projects in collaboration with other companies operating in the sector.
Present your new electric mobility project at the EVS27. You can send your proposal until 15/02/13. For more information: www.evs27.org[:]
