In view of the enormous dependence of Europe on oil exports as a source of energy for its transport sector, it is now of the utmost importance to consider other energy alternatives that will not cause such a serious impact on the environment. For this reason, the Spanish Cluster for Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (AEDIVE) and the Spanish Institution for Diversification and Energy Saving (IDAE) have organised a European Conference to discuss the subject of the present and future of the electric vehicle and charging infrastructures in Spain and in Europe.
The talks given by the representatives of diverse European institutions will compare the different visions of the current situation of the electric mobility market and its prospects in the short and long term. Aside from this evaluation, an attempt will be made to find possible solutions in order to overcome the challenges of the market and convert market threats into opportunities.
